whatever you love, you are.” – Rumi.
“This is a subtle truth ;
whatever you love, your are
Basically I am a happy soul, always interested in all the interesting sorts that life can offer. A wonderer by nature and a wanderer when get chance who believes that little pleasures of life make it more lovable and livable. And so, I keep collecting and sometimes creating such moments all the way. This blog, “A pinch of lyfe” is collection of all such beautiful experiences I have lived and loved.
Little introduction about self. I am Archana Chauhan, born and brought up at Ahmedabad – India and currently living in a small peaceful town named Bhuj with my parents, my brother Amit, my bhabhi Smita and two angelic nieces Dhyana and Ananya. I have completed my graduation with both Commerce and Law faculties but since very childhood, literature has remained my first love. Just after my graduation, I started working with All India Radio and our family business simultaneously. Those damn hectic years went quite happily with family, friends and loving and caring colleagues at AIR Bhuj. Here at All India Radio, I have been performing in various sections like drama (radio plays), light music and have been working as a locutor in Hindi and Gujarati languages with absolute indulgence.
“Khwahishen itnee ki har khawahish pe dum nikle”. Borrowing Ghalib’s words and replacing “khwahish” by “shauk” in my case. Yes! There are so many other things I love! All sorts of music and movies, cooking and baking, reading and writing, traveling and photography, gardening and of course chit-chatting. Sometimes I feel, if I would have picked just one hobby and worked upon the same, I could have mastered that. But how I could never picked just one! In this blog too, I am sharing the bunch of all the goodies I love to do.In my entire career as a locutor, I have been writing unnumbered of program scripts and that’s how praxis of writing occured. But then that was limited to scripts only. Later Facebook introduced me to many like-minded and highly knowledgeable friends whose write-ups amazed and inspired me to write on songs and movies. I dared to share my write-ups too gradually and all those kind people kept on motivating my humble attempts. My dear friend Deepa boosted up my confidence more by sharing my write-ups on her much loved and highly popular website/page Thesongpedia. At the same time, my permanent guide and motivator Deeksha Pathak and some other lovely friends from different cookery and baking groups like Home bakers guild, Foodie, Aap ka zayka etc inspired me a lot to click, write and share my tried and tasted food recipes. During all these years, I have been continuously asked by my mentor at AIR – Vasantbhai Joshi to make writing my regular habit. Some my loving friends also insisted me to save all my recipes and write-ups and start my own blog for the same. That’s how born “A pinch of lyfe”. A bouquet of all the lovely things I plucked from life for myself and now going to share with all of you.
Food, music, movies, traveling and so many things are in mind right now. Let’s see how far it goes and which directions it takes. Dedicating everything belong to me and my blog to my parents and my little nieces Dhyana and Ananya who always give me a reason to smile.
You are heartily welcomed to join me.♥️
